There are three parts to fixing boilers part one will deal with if the boiler can not start.
Part two will discuss if the burner starts but will not produce heat or will not stay running.

Timer
Your timer is the unit that tells your boiler to turn on you will need to set this to “ON” for both water and heating.
Thermostat
Your thermostat will relay the signal from the timer to the boiler, if the room is hot the signal will not be sent to the boiler. You will need to set this to maximum most likely 30-35 degrees
